Phone is not charging fast even after long hours of charging

Phone is not charging or Charging very slowly even when kept for long hours then

Check the Reasons that might have caused this Issue with their solution:

1. High Background battery usage

There might be some apps that may be running in the background and consuming your battery.

You can check the battery usage by going to setting and searching Battery usage, you should see a Graph that shows the usgae of all the apps installed.

Find the culprits and uninstall it or Force stop it when not using.

2. Different Charger Cable or Adapter

This is the most common issues that cause the phone to charge slowly, Please ensure that you are charging your phone through the original charger and cable that was given with the phone.

Charging with a difference charger does not only affect initially but can be dangerous for long term, it can easily slow down your phone's performance and battery life. Don't comprises with the Charger.

3. Don't Use your phone while it's plugged in

Never use your phone when its plugged in, It does not only decrease your phone battery performance but also slows down your phone CPU performance.

4. Battery problem

If you Charge your phone with the Original Charger and Cable that was provided in the box and not with any duplicate or Rip off copy of it and still have the same problem then you should check your battery.

If the Phone is new and is under warranty then you should visit the service center before it's too late.

If the Phone is Old (2 or 3 year old) then your battery might be dying and need to be replaced.

You should buy a Powerbank that is of good quality (Big brands like Redmi etc...) and then keep it attached to your phone directly, then you don't need to spend time for charging the phone, you just need to charge the power bank (that is quick in most of the powerbanks)
