Here's a quick follow along tutorial to help you make the perfect Photo for your JEE Mains registration!
Follow along the simple steps mentioned below:
1. First and Foremost, Get Ready!
Get yourself clean and happy, put on some good formal cloths such as a Formal Suit with tie, A plain Black T-shirt or a Deep Blue shirt. Anything that looks formal and clean.
2. Get you Mobile phone and Selfie stick Ready!
The Default Camera apps works Fine for the initial raw pictures. Tweak the settings on the Camera app to make its resolution to Max!
The Start Your photoshoot Using the Front Camera or the Rear Camera (Its depends on your device, Prefer one which has Higher Megapixels.
And if you don't have a selfie stick, then make one, by using some sticks or anything you find easy to use.
3. Photoshoot Tips
Stand Straight, point your head towards the camera lens, and focus your eyes onto the Camera lens for best results.
Click at least 10 Images of yours, with a constant bold expression.
4. NDA Guidelines
As per the latest NDA Guidelines for Photo for JEE Mains 2021 Registration, they have clearly mentioned that the photo should have a WHITE Background, the Face should be 80% Visible with Ear clearly visible and the Applicant should not be wearing a mask.
5. Background Removal
Download Background Removal Apps form play store, they are very simple to use and do not require a lot of skills, but you should pay some time in removing the background as its takes a good amount of time.
After Removal, save the image as PNG, Because PNG can have Images with Background Transparent.

If you don't want to spend that much time, Search “Online Background Removal” On Google and.
you should find some good website and they are doing this job very effectively and for free.

7. Editing
Download PixelLabs from Play store.
Open it, and import the Transparent Background photo by clicking on the + Icon at the Top left and then clicking to “From Gallery”
Then, Click on background tab (The 4th Icon from the bottom most tab), and then click Colors option and select White Color.
NOTE: You can skip step 7 and 8 by following the link below, that will take you to the site, where you can change the Background of your Image directly.

Now, if the Size of Image Exceeds 200KB, then search “Free Online Image compressor” On google and click on any of the websites
Then it will ask you to upload the image that you want to get compressed, upload the image, it will do its thing, and then download the Final image and upload it to JEE Mains Registration site.
